Agent-provocateur.ch is an atypical Datuma project. The idea was generated by Datuma itself and the project is not primarily intended to be financially independent. Stimulated by the “move-on” video campaign against G W Bush’s re-election, we came up with the idea of launching our own campaign for video clips as biting comments on the current situation in Switzerland. To do so, Datuma joined forces with Heller Enterprises, which assumed the entire production and launching of the campaign. To date, several units of short films were created that are shown as supporting films in studio cinemas, on large screens at important stations, on the Internet, and at festivals and events. The project is intended to cover several years and to gradually become more and more focussed, increasingly accurate and create more and more resonance by a broad participation of the most varied groups of authors. Following its successful start, there are now plans to change the project into an independent and self-financed enterprise in the medium run.
